The top slot has one blade, centered. Whatever size paper you center between those two guides will be cut perfectly in half. The black guides in the lower slot are not movable. It is tempting to try to move them, because they look just like the adjustable guides in the top slot, but trust me, the black guides in the lower slot are there to stay! The lower slot has two blades four inches apart. If you run 12x12 paper through the lower slot, it will be cut into three 4" strips. If you run 11-inch paper through the lower slot with the paper all the way to the left OR all the way to the right, you can get two 4" strips and a 3" strip. |
