I have a hard time making a flinger card. I have two problems. One is and it's the most important, it won't fling the confetti? The second one is that the card folds in on it's self when I try to put the rubber band around the box. Do you have to use a certain type of paper for the box? I am using a cardstock that is a little thicker than what I use for cards. I've been trying for a year to get this card mastered and not had any luck. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help. STmpaholic@aol.com
You need to use very heavy cardstock. I use the cardboard they use in the packaging of comic books. I went to a local comic book store and bought the stock for 7 cents a sheet, or you can spray glue 2 sheets of cardstock together and that will also work. Pat Koss p.koss@snet.net
What size rubber bands work best? I bought abig bag of #10's that are 1 1/4" by 1/16". They seem to be just the right size. I found mine at Staples. |
