Colored Glue Monoprints
Kinga Britschgi maci@cyberhighway.net
You'll need: white glue mixed w/ food coloring or tempera paint (both liquid and powder tempera works), squirt bottles, posterboard/matboard/thicker cardboard, cardstock Create various designs on a piece of posterboard or cardboard squirting the plastic bottle with the colored glue in it. Then transfer the design to another paper or posterboard. By turning and twisting the original print, an interesting monoprint is transferred with raised and swirled effects. The design can be transferred several times and placed differently each time depending on how big the paper or posterboard is that you are transferring onto. Let it dry (may take a longer time - it depends on the thickness of the glue).
