I have used this stamp pad and absolutely love it. I've never used the bleach method, so I don't know how it compares to that. But this stamp pad is addicting. The ink (or whatever it is) is clear and has no odor that I noticed. It reminds me of Versamark. You stamp it on cardstock, let it sit for about 5 minutes and then iron the cardstock using the cotton (very hot) setting. Wow! The image you stamped changes to a different color than the original color of the cardstock. I used a navy cardstock and the image turned a beautiful turquoise. Plum cardstock turned a pretty pink. Red turned a golden yellow. Light blue turned mint green...... See what I mean when I say it's addicting? It's so much fun to see what color you will get. And depending on how much ink you get on the areas of the stamp, the image will be mottled - meaning that the "bleached" areas have different intensities. And if you run your finger over the stamped image, you can feel that the image is a little raised. |
