Antiquities Inkpads
(Ranger Industries  http://www.rangerink.com/)

Tyra Smith Cloud9@netnet.net
The Antiquities pads are made by Ranger Industries and are quite nice. Very light in color, pastel almost. The pads are a straight felt pad, which keeps the pad from being "soppy" with the ink. So, having the pigment ink on the felt pad makes two things happen:
1. The pad may SEEM dry, but isn't. If you press your finger down onto it, it doesn't pick up much ink but the ink IS there.
2. Because the pigment ink is on a felt pad, you will be able to get very fine detail with any stamp you use. As I said, the pad seems dry but isn't.
The Antiquities pigment inkpads are a nice line of pigment inks in the pale pastel colors missing from most pigment ink lines. Ranger also has a coordinating embossing powder line called Antiquities Embossing Powders.
