Acrylic Inks

I just had to have the Pearlescent liquid acrylics because they are so pretty. So far I have used them for spattering and making backgrounds. I pour some into a flat dish along with a few coordinating colors, and dip some glossy cardstock into it. I've also added a bit of color to whipped paper fluff and in the blender when making paper.

I had to have some of the gorgeous colors of ink I saw at my local art supply store. I have a sapphire blue, emerald green, coffee, ruby red, and cobalt blue. I got a dip pen and I handwrite letters to friends and family! Yes, it's time consuming, but it is a wonderfully relaxing thing to do. And the friends and family enjoy getting a handwritten rather than computer generated letter once in a while. I use a fountain pen most of the time (with a converter, so I can use my lovely inks), but using a dip pen is such a lovely feeling. With the right nib, you can get the feeling of calligraphy even if you aren't a calligrapher! And it has such a Renaissance feel to it!
