Smith (Manufacturer: PageSage http://www.pagesage.com/) Please tell me.....working with polymer clay CANNOT be THIS EASY??? Or can it? I already have all the supplies, the pasta machine, the stamps. I THOUGHT I knew how to use polymer clay too. And what's more, working with polymer clay was never that easy for me. UNTIL.....I watched this totally awesome dvd. Lisa Pavelka and PageSage have created a dvd that takes us into the world of polymer clay and shows us just how easy it is to create beautiful projects with very little fuss or frustration. The information is very thorough and easy to understand. Whether you're new to polymer clay or have played with it for years, the projects presented spark your imagination and ignite a desire to dive into a whole new world of possibilities with polymer clay. This dvd is divided into two main sections. The first section deals with the "polymer clay basics" and gives you all the information you could ever want. Topics of interest are: Clays, Cutting Tools, Basic and Texturing Tools, Adhesives, Work Surfaces, Pasta Machines, Conditioning, Baking, Sanding, Polishing and Clean-Up. A huge bonus for me: now I know what to do with all those knitting needles I bought when I mistakenly thought I could teach myself to knit!!! The second section builds on the basics and provides you with step-by-step instructions for creating 6 outstanding polymer clay projects. Not only are you able to easily create the presented projects, but you also can easily see how to expand on the basic project itself to create unique items all your own. The projects include: Treasured Tools (oh yes, make your tools beautiful AND functional!), Faux Art Glass (no torch necessary!!!), Business Card Holder, Dream Purse Pen, Transformed Tins, and a Hinged Pillow Bead. Novice to experienced polymer clay enthusiasts will love this dvd. Its a great buy and a valuable educational resource. I could go on and on about this dvd, but I need to drag out my polymer clay tools and supplies and get to work!!!
